Overview of Activities
MSPO is an international organization that conducts research activities and educational training programs necessary to promote medical safety on a global scale.
In order to assure medical safety around the world, the Organization works closely with related parties
in industry, government, and academia in Japan and abroad to conduct world-class research
and educational activities from an international perspective.
Through this process, we will identify critical issues facing peoples' lives and seek solutions to them,
as well as support the related activities of other organizations.
Our focus is on patient safety in the face of changing circumstances,
such as infectious disease outbreak and large-scale disaster outbreaks.
We conduct a wide range of activities, from basic research to application
of all aspects of technological safety development.
Through these international activities,
we will build a global healthcare system with a more advanced medical safety culture.
(Main Activities)
1. Promote medical technology and organization safety from comprehensive scientific research
based on industry, government, and academia collaboration.
2. Focusing on and reviewing recent and pending issues in medical safety.
3. Research and educational activities on medical safety, investigation of commissioned research,
and adult educationabout safety.
4. Commissioned projects to support holding academic meetings on medical safety.
5. Publication of results based on the activities described in item 1 ~ 4.
6. Projects incidental or related to the projects listed in item 1 ~ 4.
