The Medical Safety Promotion Organization (MSPO) was established by the global stakeholders of the International Association of Risk Management in Medicine (IARMM).
The activities of MSPO consist of two major pillars:
1) international collaborative and interdisciplinary research activities by industry, government, and academia collaboration,

MSPO will establish the Higher Education Program on Medical Safety as one of the educational programs of MSPO, with professors of medical safety from around the world. The MSPO-HEPMS offers a distance learning, master's and doctoral level education programs with English and Japanese courses. Since all lectures and practical training are conducted via the Internet, the students can follow the program from wherever they live.
